Position Overview:

Priority Group Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in New Jersey. The Physical Therapist will play a key role in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our patients while adhering to professional standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment and Treatment:
• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate patients' conditions and needs.
• Developing personalized treatment plans to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall functionality.
• Implementing evidence-based physical therapy techniques and exercises.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitoring patients' progress, reassessing as necessary, and modifying treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records and progress reports.
• Patient Education and Support:
• Educating patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and strategies for managing conditions or injuries.
• Providing emotional support and encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and caregivers regarding patient progress and needs.

Requirements:

• Possession of a New Jersey Licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including those set by the New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Inspector General, Medicaid/Medicare, Corporate Compliance, PEOSHA, and Priority Group Services Policies and Procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in utilizing relevant physical therapy equipment and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Specialized certifications or training related to specific areas of physical therapy.
